The DYPA Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of life to the residents of East Baton Rouge Parish by providing outreach, educational and mentoring services.



Our vision is the help our youth become effective

leaders and citizens in the community.


DYPA Foundation was established as a 501c3 in February 2013 by CEO/Founder Ms. Yalandra McClain. DYPA Foundation started with a vision to Ms. McClain back in 2006 and now has become a reality. During the year of 2013, DYPA Foundation has reached over 989 youths and has actively recruited 31 youths from East Baton Rouge Parish and surrounding areas. DYPA Foundation has participated in over13 community outreach events throughout the 2013 year. DYPA Foundation has held (7) 3 hour seminars covering topics such as Bullying Prevention, Tobacco-Free, Leadership Skills, and providing group mentoring at the Grenwell Springs Library and Jones Creek Library in East Baton Rouge Parish.   DYPA Foundation has also been recognized by local new channels such as WAFB Channel 9 ,  WVLA 33, and The Around Town Show for their efforts in the community.

DYPA Foundation is now a Certified Medicaid Application Center. We provide this services by appointment ONLY to residents within the community. Call us at 225-448-1533 or 225-337-8896 to schedule your appointment.

DYPA Foundation is a 501c3 non profit organization that is now participating in the Albertsons Community Partners Program. There is no cost to get involved and we will benefit greatly with your help. We will earn 1% of your shopping each time you scan our Community Partner card. Please invite friends, family, neighbors and co-workers who may be willing to help us as well.
